About

Adam Yund of YUND Studios is a trained metalsmith and welder. Originally hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, Adam studied metal sculpture and bronze casting while earning his BFA from West Virginia University. Today, Adam specializes in metalwork sculptures and mixed media artwork using found scrap metal and a handcrafted forge from his home on Kauai, HI.

Customized art requests are both welcome and appreciated!

Here’s some more about Adam in his own words:

I am currently teaching middle school art on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.  I have lived there for almost 11 years.  In this last year I started making my own work again after years away from it (playing guitar was my main creative outlet for a while, like 10 years).

I graduated from West Virginia University in 2005 with a degree in art education and a fine art emphasis in sculpture, particularly metal work.  For now, you can see my ongoing work under the work tab and follow my progress on new pieces via Instagram @yundstudios.   Cheers!
